Eligibility & Application
In order for students to participate in the SSS Regular Program at the UL Lafayette, they must meet eligibility criteria. In order to receive services, a student must be:
- A US Citizen or a national, permanent resident or have INS documentation
- Enrolled in a UL Lafayette undergraduate program pursuing their first baccalaureate degree.
In addition, students must be one of the following:
- A "first generation" college student (NEITHER of their parents has a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degree)
AND/OR
- Eligible for or are receiving need-based financial aid for the student’s education and/or meet the federal government's guidelines for low income individuals/families
